After studying at the Bristol College of Commerce (UK) Sue worked in that industry for 10 years. She then studied Fine Arts with James Hockey at the West Surrey College of Art and Design (UK). At present, Sue is invloved in a series of figurative paintings and her work in Paris and her frequent visits to Spain have inspired her to produce the life studies and dance which appear in her present collection. The "moving landscape" and her "beloved" mountains have greatly influenced much of Sue's work. " Movement interests me. In my paintings I am trying to convey an energy and passion not only from the body language of my models but the 'living landscape.' For me nothing is static:The elements can change the perspective and appearance of apparently inanimate objects."
