Aymara's use of light is extraordinary and there is always an element in his work that reminds viewers of places visited in the past, providing a sense of permanance. Born in Peru in 1980, Aymara was educated at Escuela de Bellas Artes "Carlos Baca Flor" de Arequipa. He has received several awards including honorable mention at the national painting contest in 2001.
