Chris was born in Great Falls, Montana, but was raised in Hawaii and San Diego with a deep appreciation for bronze, art, and photography. Chris has always searched out the peace and tranquility of nature and the great outdoors, even running the Alaskan Iditarod in 1982. Chris also studies extensively, the Teachings of Ferou, and is constantly seeking to improve and deepen his skill.
Chris is interested in creating bronzes that have functionality. At any given time he has a minimum of five bronzes in work concurrently at his "Sandstone Art Studio" in Southwest Utah and Arizona, using the "lost wax" process.
One thing his creations all have in common is whimsicality and personality.
